International Travel Portals

This is a Knowledge Bank focused on travel safety, built to suit the client’s specific needs in that area. A Planet Wise travel safety portal showcases our specialist skills in information delivery as well as our extensive background in training for both international and domestic travellers.

In 2010, Planet Wise was contracted by E.ON’s Fleet Management Centre (FMC) to deliver an online solution that could reduce the risk to their their team of engineers who travel to E.ON-managed power stations and other locations in several European countries.

Many of these locations were somewhat remote, meaning that travelling to them would pose a significant challenge without the pre-departure information delivered by Planet Wise.

Please click here to read a full case study of Planet Wise’s travel safety portal project for E.ON.

Knowledge Banks do not create a full audit trail, as there is no built-in assessment stage, but user records can be kept by an administrator, meaning you still demonstrate your duty of care towards your travelling staff.

Additionally, any specific company travel safety policies can also be delivered via the site, ensuring your staff are compliant with your own internal regulations whenever they go abroad (or travel around the United Kingdom) on your behalf.
