Sainsbury’s is one of the three largest supermarket chains in the United Kingdom by market share. Planet Wise began working with Sainsbury’s on a project to train recent graduates enrolling in the supermarket’s food science initiative. Trainees joining the programme were offered placements across the globe at supplier organisations.

Planet Wise has run pre-trip safety and awareness courses for these new-starters. These have ensured that the trips run smoothly and, importantly, that Sainsbury’s is able to demonstrate its duty of care to its new staff.
